Being a team player for 23 years

On March 31, 1985, my son was born weighing 5lbs 14 oz, 15″ long. His lungs collapsed at birth. He spent 2 1/2 months in Akron before coming home. We faced many challenges but met many wonderful people. I find it ironic how for 23 years of being a family and a team player, my son’s life ended with Akron Children’s Hospital. We had an array of experiences both good and bad. We met many, many wonderful social workers and doctors and precious nurses. We are celebrating the second anniversary of our son Monte G. Edwards’ time in heaven and we are so thankful that God blessed us with a wonderful wonderful hospital. We love you!
