Decorator Jill Pangas, her sister, Renee Campbell, and her mother, Fay Perry, used a classic red and green color scheme with yellow and blue ornaments to make this tree shine.
Rather than a traditional tree topper, they created a bow with laced with zebra-striped ribbon. A hand-painted sign that reads, “Celebrate the wonder of the season,” hangs near the top of the tree, while presents and nut-crackers rest at the bottom.
To see this tree and other holiday creations, visit the Holiday Tree Festival, Nov. 17-25, at the John S. Knight Center. Admission is free. For more information, visit akronchildrens.org/treefestival.
