Akron Children’s Hospital’s 15th annual Have a Heart, Do Your Part radiothon, presented by 98.1 WKDD, will air Feb. 13-15.
Akron-area salons are stepping up to help raise money for the radiothon, which is the hospital’s largest fundraiser.
“Cuts for Kids” is a Change Bandit program for local salons where they collect change, sell paper hearts, or donate a percentage of their sales on a given day to benefit the radiothon.

Get a haircut at Great Clips at Chapel Hill or in Macedonia on Jan. 25 and a percentage of your haircut sales will be donated to the radiothon.

JAZ HAIR Studios

On Feb. 5, JAZ HAIR Studios in Akron will be donating a percentage of its haircut sales to the Have a Heart, Do Your Part radiothon.
Sleek Hair Salon
3088 Graham Road, Stow
From now through radiothon, Sleek Hair Salon will be selling paper heart icons and collecting change donations. On Feb. 1, the salon will donate a percentage of its haircut sales to help support our patients.
