After a successful Change Bandit Bash last night at the Sheraton Suites, the most magical weekend on radio officially began this morning at 5:30 a.m.
Tommy Dick’s parents were told by local doctors that Tommy was going to have to have many surgeries to repair his club feet. After many trips to Akron Children’s Hospital, castings, years in a brace and only one surgery, Tommy is now a healthy 7-year-old. Tommy’s family has decided to sign up to be a Change Bandit this year and raise money for the “Have a Heart, Do Your Part” Radiothon, which airs Feb. 7-9 on 98.1 WKDD.
Akron Children’s Hospital is once again teaming up with 98.1 WKDD to sponsor the 14th annual “Have a Heart, Do Your Part” radiothon which takes place Feb. 7-9. Dairy Queen and Papa John’s are also doing their part helping to support the radiothon, which is the hospital’s largest fundraiser. Below are some tasty ways you can join in the fun!
