A contest could yield a $20,000 donation to Akron Children’s Hospital – but we need your help!
Kent State University and Walsh University had a common theme this spring: For the Kids! – the theme of dance marathons nationwide, supported by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
To say thank you to the event coordinators, volunteers, Change Bandits and CMN partners who donated $878,741 last year, Akron Children’s Hospital hosted the “Night at the Movies” recognition event on March 20 at the Akron Civic Theatre.

“Have Yourself a Merry Whittle Christmas” features hand-carved ornaments made by the Forest Heritage Festival committee. Now in its 17th year, the Forest Heritage Festival is held each fall at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds to raise money for Akron Children’s Hospital.
