The Parent Courtesy Cart on the Beeghly campus is staff by volunteers from the Parent Advisory Council. They visit both the pediatric floor and the Special Care Nursery with juice, coffee, and snacks for the families.

Akron Life magazine recently released its “Best of the City” issue, a reader-nominated contest that garnered 1,000 nominations. Akron Children’s Hospital received acclaim in 2 categories – best local charity event and best local place to volunteer.
