Should you encourage your children to make New Year’s resolutions? Do young children even understand what it means to make resolutions? What’s my role as a parent in this process?

Constantinou says that while many New Year’s resolutions fall by the wayside shortly after the ball drops, the goal setting skills they can teach children and young adults could last a lifetime.
