Baby Jude’s first Summit DD Calico classroom teacher, Lucy, is great. She made our transition into an integrated classroom an easy one. So when she asked me and another Calico mom to speak at her church as part of a disability awareness initiative, I jumped at the chance to repay her.

Morgan Maclean is an active teen who has loved to shoot hoops and drive balls into the fairway since she was a little kid. She started playing golf when she was 2. Then bouts of superventricular tachycardia, a rapid heart rate that involves both the upper and lower chambers of the heart, threatened to sideline her.
We officially have a 1 year old in our home. We are so blessed with such an amazing son being entrusted in our care. I would have never dreamed life with our child would be so rewarding. I’d like to share some of the letter I’ve written for our little man for his birthday.
