The kitchen can be home to a little fun with the kids, especially on those really hot days. In this video, Akron Children’s dietitian Lindsay Bailey shows how to get the entire family involved in putting together a quick, healthy treat.
- Cherry or grape tomatoes
- Cherry-sized mozzarella balls
- Olive Oil
- Balsamic vinegar
- Freshly ground black pepper
Wash and dry the tomatoes. Thread tomatoes, mozzarella balls and basil leaves onto skewers, repeating until skewer is filled. Repeat until you get the amount of skewers you want. Place the skewers on a plate and then drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle a little salt and ground pepper.
