What stands out most about Dr. Shannon King? An infectious laugh and great sense of humor. To her, laughter is the best way to relax and connect with others — be it friends, family or patients.
That’s why Akron Children’s newest pediatrician at Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics, Green, ensures laughter and compassion are a part of every treatment. Whether it’s cracking corny jokes for older kids or making silly faces for little ones, Dr. King dishes up a daily dose of humor to ensure patients leave with a smile on their faces. After all, laughter is the best medicine.
