Quick Care Online: Convenient hours 7 days a week, 365 days a year
From the comfort of home or on-the-go, Quick Care Online connects parents to Akron Children’s pediatric providers for virtual visits using voice and video through a compatible mobile phone, tablet or computer. Our pediatric providers can diagnose, recommend treatment and prescribe medication online for many common health issues, including allergy and sinus, cold and flu, sore throat, stuffy nose, rashes, pink eye, bronchitis, respiratory and urinary tract infections, and more. The service is available to anyone under age 18 in Ohio.
Telehealth visits through MyChart: Alternative to in-person patient visits
MyChart Telehealth visits are available to current and new Akron Children’s patients. Patients without a MyChart account can get temporary access for their Telehealth visit. From primary care to specialty appointments, many Akron Children’s providers offer virtual visits via a compatible mobile phone, tablet or computer as an alternative to in-office visits. Call your provider to learn if a Telehealth visit is right for your child.
