Adaptive sports program gives son and others with physical disabilities competitive outlet
My son Casey was born with spina bifida, a disability that caused paralysis in his legs. He was competitive and athletic as a toddler but was not able to participate in typical sports because of his disability. Through adaptive/paralympic sports, Casey found the competitive outlet he craved.
