While colon cancer may be the second leading cause of cancer deaths among men and women, caught in time, it can be a very preventable disease. During National Colon Cancer Awareness Month, held each year in March, the Genetic Center at Akron Children’s Hospital encourages adults to learn more about their risk for this disease.
