Five years ago, AJ Khoury, 18, was diagnosed with cancer, but this fall, he plans on attending the University of Akron and will major in civil engineering. To show his appreciation to Akron Children’s Hospital, AJ will be participating in a campaign at Giant Eagle stores. The proceeds will benefit Akron Children’s Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders.
