Volunteers help deliver holiday cheer to palliative care families
Each year, the Haslinger Family Pediatric Palliative Care Center at Akron Children’s Hospital sends handmade, signed holiday greeting cards to their patients and families, as well as bereaved families. The number of palliative families keeps growing every year, and this year there were 1,400.
